I had been driving for almost twenty years when I decided to ditch the car and buy a motorbike. I had recently split up with my wife, and out kids were all at university, so I really had no need for a big car, and it seemed like a great way for me to inject a bit of fun into my life.
I managed to sell my car without any problem, and perhaps foolishly I just dove in and bought a pretty powerful bike.
